Dear reader: I will be moving my blog soon to palettesnferrules.com. Please follow me there if you’re interested in reading more about my posts. Thanks! 🙂
Okay, I think I have established enough in this blog that I love my makeup brushes and eyeshadow palettes – especially the neutrals. As far as UK brands go, before I lusted over Makeup Revolution’s palettes, I have to admit that there was MUA. As far as my limited knowledge about brands and products go, I believe MUA started the UD Naked dupes. Oh, I’m aware that shades of the Naked palette shades have been duped individually by other brands, but I think MUA was the first to make palettes that attempted to dupe every single shade in one Naked palette. Don’t quote me on that though. As I said, I’ve limited knowledge about brands and products. 🙂
I have a confession to make. Up until I turned 28, I didn’t wear make-up on a regular basis. Oh, of course I wore lipstick during my graduation ceremonies throughout the years and some school performances, but overall, I didn’t actually have a makeup collection before 2014.
If you have been a regular visitor of this little corner in the blogsphere, then it’s probably become apparent to you that I love online shopping. I make no secret of it. I love finding deals online and feel exhilarated when I receive a package in the mail. Being in the Philippines, I don’t have access to drugstore or high-end makeup in terms of physical stores except for what’s available in my country – and that’s not a lot. This is the reason why over the years, I have become a frequent buyer in eBay and much more recently, Aliexpress.
However, as much as you get awesome deals when you do online shopping, I wouldn’t advise for just anyone to go dive into it without knowing and taking care of some important bits that are rather important when you’re an online shopper. Having said that and considering that I have considerable experience in this field, I would like to share with you my tips and guidelines for shopping on eBay.
Would love to tap into the world of online shopping?

I will be the first one to admit that I have never considered myself a lipstick fan. For the longest time and during my pre-makeup days, I have always relied on my Human Nature Peppermint Lipbalm for avoid chapped lips and that was it. Even when I started getting makeup, it literally took me months before I even bought my first lipstick – and even then it was because it was on sale and super cheap.
So perhaps no one was more surprised than I am when I made the effort to actually look for a seller of these Milani Color Statement lipsticks. I must say that what got me really curious was the fact that Milani has quite an excellent reputation when it comes to their blushers and lipsticks, so I was not about to pass on the opportunity to own at least one of these products. When I came across a review and swatch video of them on Youtube and saw the shades in which they come, I immediately set me heart to buying the ones that I like.
If you’re a fan of One Direction, then you have probably heard that your favorite pop band has been working with Markwins International for the launch of their very own Makeup by One Direction. Even more so, you’ve probably saved some money and waited patiently for the release of their collection. Well today, as cliché as it may sound, The Long Wait Is Over.
Ever since I saw that first Iconic 3 Palette review on Youtube, I have been
obsessed fascinated with Makeup Revolution. For those of you who don’t know what Makeup Revolution is, it’s a relatively new cosmetics company based in the United Kingdom. They offer a variety of products from eyeshadow palettes to foundation to blusher and bronzers. Pretty much from the time they opened, their products have been raved upon by bloggers and beauty gurus online and since I’m a self-confessed eyeshadow palette lover, I had to get into the bandwagon.
If you have read a number of my blog posts, then you’re probably already aware that I love my eyeshadow palettes and makeup brushes. Admittedly, when one looks at my collection, they’d most likely think I need another eyeshadow palette and makeup brush set like a whole in my head, but I couldn’t seem to resist hauling them when I see a set or a palette that I like.
Having said that, you shouldn’t really be surprised that I have another brush set to review today…
